As we enter the second half of the year, it’s a great time to have a look of our lives and do a mid-year review. It’s a moment of truth and only you can decide if your life meets your expectations.
Once you know where you are in your life, it’s much easier to plan and move forward. I recommend that you reserve an hour or so to do the below exercise and write down your answers, so you can refer to them in the end of the year and see the changes. Ensure that you’re including at least the following areas (appearing in alphabetical order): emotional well-being, financial security, intellectual stimulation, physical health, relationships, spiritual fulfillment physical health, and work/career achievement.
* What areas in your life are you happy about right now?
** Why specifically you are happy with these areas?
* What areas in your life are you unhappy about right now?
** Why specifically you are not happy with these areas?
** What specifically should happen that you could feel happy with these areas?
Once you know these answers, it’s much easier to start closing the gap between your expectations and current life situation. Progress is one of the keys to happiness. We are constantly growing and learning more about life and ourselves. Remember that blaming others or ourselves won’t take us forward. We can choose to change our lives by making decisions and taking actions that will bridge the gap between our expectations and the current situation, or we can change our expectations.
If you want help to clarify why you feel unhappy with some areas in your life, we can do this powerful exercise together! I offer you a special “CLOSE THE GAP” session during July through Skype (60 minutes session/50€). If you want to book your session, please email me.
Enjoy the journey of your life as you deserve to be happy!
With love & light,
PS. I’m starting a new feature on my blog! I'm interviewing people who have found their path, are doing something extraordinary and/or have affected my life. You can read the first interview on 15th of July.
