If you answered yes, I’ll share the magic ingredient with you but first I want to share how I found it. As a New Year’s resolution I promised myself to complete reading a book called “The Magic” from Rhonda Byrne. I had had it on my bookshelf for a while. When I had bought it, I had eagerly started reading it… But then I had got to the part, where you supposed to start a practice that should be completed over 28 consecutive days - I had put it back to the shelf. New year, new start, I told myself and committed myself to follow the practice as it promised to show the way to the magical life. Who wouldn't want that?
Now I’m so grateful that I did push myself to do it as the practice shifted something inside me and I started truly seeing the magic in the world again while I learned to use the magical power of gratitude. I must admit that I had forgotten many times to be grateful for what I had and just focused on things that I wanted but didn't have, and I had taken many things granted in my life. The gratitude practice made a huge improvement in my life and I continue doing particular practices daily like starting my morning with “Thank you!” as every new day is a miracle.
Gratitude is the magic ingredient! Count right now ten things that you are grateful for and see how the magic will start working in your life. Whatever your situation is - there are always things to be grateful for. As Buddha’s quote says:
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.”
With love & light,
