When I sit on my balcony writing this newsletter in early afternoon, the gloom is already gone. Within a 10 minutes I have been able to admire a hummingbird, a dragonfly and a squirrel as they visited my neighbors' little garden. Life is good if I focus on this moment.
I came to think why do we then keep hanging on to the gloom in our own lives? Sometimes we keep holding on to the past events and stories about ourselves that make us feel sad, small or disempowered. Why don't we just let the winds of change to blow them away? Why do we keep going back to the same old patterns, same old thoughts, even though we know that they won't bring us happiness?
I believe that we might have got so used to the gloom that it has become our comfort zone. It takes courage to step out from it and let the sunshine in again. If we get a spray of sunshine, we might start questioning ourselves. Are we really worth of receiving such a gift? My answer to you is YES = we are worthy, valuable and lovable.
I want give you three examples how you can bring a ray of sunshine into your life, each of them take less than 1 minute of your day.
1) Give yourself a compliment in front of mirror every day! Feel worthy!
2) Give yourself a thank you for being on this journey! Feel grateful!
3) Give yourself a hug and tell yourself 'I Love You'. Feel loved!
These little rays of sunshine can break through the clouds. When you add more loving and gratitude into your life, you will experience a feeling of a positive shift. It gives you energy to step out from the gloom and start making those changes in your life that you want. Will you choose to start this shift? If you want more happiness and love into your life, commit to give yourself 1 minute per day during 30-days. This one minute per day can start a big positive transformation, so why don't you make this experiment during one month?
