I experienced one of those moments on Tuesday, June 16th. I was driving with my bicycle when a car door opened right in front of me. The next moment I recall was when I was on the drive lane watching how a car was coming towards me. I witnessed what was happening, but I couldn’t move fast enough - I just watched how the car wheel was getting closer and closer. Luckily the driver managed to stop just on time, about 25 inches from me. I was shaken, but luckily walked away from this with a few bruises, cuts and sore muscles. I felt enormous gratitude to get a chance to continue here.
I realized the enormous gift that I have received through my studies at the University of Santa Monica. I have powerful tools to do the inner work that I needed after this event in order to heal and find inner peace again, Also I gave myself Reiki energy healing to support my physical healing. I lovingly took care of myself and gave myself time to heal. Now I’m even more focused to live everyday with an intention to be happy and have joy in my life while I’m courageously taking steps towards my new goals.
Sometimes new doors open to us unexpectedly - sometimes we find good things behind the door and sometimes not so good things, but whatever we find we can always choose our thoughts and attitudes. We can always learn. After all “good” and “bad” are just labels that we give to events based on our current knowledge.
Now we have reached the midpoint of the year, it’s a good time to take a moment and evaluate what’s happening in your life. The below questions will assist you on this:
- Do you still remember your New Year’s resolutions? What did you want to achieve this year? Give yourself a praise if you are on track. Make a course correction, if needed, and encourage yourself to continue.
- What areas in your life are working well? What areas need more attention?
- What do you want to bring more into your life? What do you want to give up?
- What would you like to have accomplished by the end of the year?
With Love and Light,
