1. Tell us about yourself.
I am a holistic therapist and workshop facilitator. Working with a range of modalities such as: EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) & Matrix Reimprinting, Hypnotherapy, Life Purpose Analysis (Soul Plan Readings) enables more choice for people that are experiencing challenges in their life.
In terms of workshops I teach meditation and a course called 'Inspire Change,' which incorporates various tools and exercises for participants to learn. I feel passionate about teaching people ways of how to manage areas of their life which are causing disharmony, ways of learning to love themselves more and ultimately live a more fulfilling life.
I currently live in London but offer many sessions via Skype which is an excellent way of reaching national and international clients. I am always learning from people, I see each person as an invaluable exchange. It has been so humbling to witness the positive changes and transformation that have taken place in the people that I have had the pleasure of meeting.
Outside of my holistic therapy work, I am passionate about nature, wildlife and can actually see myself incorporating my work to work with animals (our fellow souls) in the near future. I also love to travel and have recently experienced the magical Bali which influenced me in so many ways. The most profound way is a deeper reflection on the things we consume, the products I use and how easy it is with some research and practice to make many of the things that we use but without any toxins! I plan to go back to Bali to deepen my spiritual practice/work - as well visit neighbouring countries.
2. What made you interested in EFT & Matrix Reimprinting?
I first came to learn about EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) & Matrix Reimprinting (MR) at Holistic Healing College. I then learnt that there was a practitioner course being facilitated by Karl Dawson who is the founder of Matrix Reimprinting and was very excited about this. It felt like everything was falling into place in terms of my personal experience, the vast reading and prior training I had - and seeing how EFT & MR complemented my work.
Of course on the intensive training with Karl Dawson, I had personal shifts, saw shifts in other people and was quite honestly blown away by it. The technique is simple but very effective. It draws its influences from Eastern & Western practice. It also demonstrates to us the power of belief and how our thoughts, feelings, and essentially our vibration, will attract to us all of what we do and don't want!
Realising that we have the power to heal areas of our past that might be preventing us from living a more satisfying life is so liberating.
3. How did you find your path? Was there a special event that led you to this path?
You could say I was never off my path. What I mean by this is I now know that all the challenges, trauma and pain I went through particularly from an early age up until my early 30's, were part of my journey. It was the very thing that made me aware that 'something' powerful was driving me through this, 'something' that made it possible for me to still be alive physically in spite of many different incidents. I always believed that there was a deeper purpose to life but due to my own pain, did not connect and experienced a lot of self-destructive behaviour.
In terms of my early work and training, I consistently worked to support people through their own life challenges particularly in the area of mental health.
A major turning point was when my partner's mother passed over. I felt this stopped me in my tracks and made me re-evaluate everything but mainly my direction in life. This led me to going on meditation courses and practicing daily. I have no hesitation in saying that meditation has changed my life. I feel so passionate about it and believe that it should be part of our education system. So I learnt to reconnect and with this, my heart opened. Areas that were challenging started dissolving and whilst it was still a bumpy ride, it was part of the breaking through to leading a more happier life.
I believe we come from pure love and we are here to experience life to its fullest. This means experiencing joy, anger, sadness, pain, excitement and all of gifts that life has to offer us even if they are somewhat concealed at first.
Training in healing work which incorporates mind-body-spirit was a natural progression. I was able to draw all of my life, work and personal experience together and realise that working from the heart is the most essential thing.
4. If there were one thing you could tell people to try to do that would help them on their journey, what would it be?
The one thing (out of possibilities) I would tell people is to learn how to love yourself first.
Accept that it's a process. Stopping still and learning to accept what you see is good and what you see as the parts of you that you hide, the parts of you that you don't want people to see for fear of judgement. When we show love and forgiveness to the parts that are harder to accept they soften.
5. Do you have a special affirmation or message that you would like to share with the readers?
Step out of fear and into the centre of yourself which is love. Pure love.
