Dr. Katja Rusanen is a spiritual counselor and #1 best-selling author of Your Spiritual Curriculum. She works with spiritually aware entrepreneurs and leaders who have achieved success but sense there is another level available.

Her work focuses on helping high performers identify and clear the unseen patterns that influence visibility, leadership, relationships, and growth. When these patterns become visible, new choices open and expansion becomes possible without more pressure or pushing.

Katja brings together spiritual insight and practical clarity to help her clients understand their life experiences from the perspective of the Soul. Through this lens, past challenges become guidance, patterns become visible, and growth becomes more intentional and aligned.

Her commitment to this work is deeply personal. When Katja was 16, she experienced profound loss after her boyfriend’s suicide and spent years believing she was responsible for not being able to save him. That experience began a lifelong search for meaning and understanding. Through spiritual study and guidance from several teachers, she discovered how the stories we carry can shape our lives until we learn to see them from Soul’s perspective.

Today she helps others recognize the deeper patterns within their own life journeys so they can move forward with greater clarity, freedom, and purpose.

Before dedicating herself fully to spiritual counseling, Katja built a successful career in the corporate world, including leadership roles at multinational companies such as Citibank. She later contributed to the growth of a multi-million-dollar coaching company recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Karelia University of Applied Sciences, Finland), a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, and both a Master’s Degree and Doctorate in Spiritual Science from Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy.

This combination of corporate experience and spiritual training allows her to support clients not only in personal transformation but also in expanding their leadership and impact.

Originally from Finland, Katja has lived in Spain since 2002 and works with clients internationally from her home in Marbella.
