The first month of the year is already over… How are you moving forward toward your goals and dreams for the year?

I bet you are constantly striving to make a positive difference in the world and bring your unique gifts to the forefront. However, it can be all too easy to let self-doubt and fear hold you back from reaching your full potential.

If that sounds familiar, just know that you are not alone. I’ve been there too! Especially when I’m on the edge of birthing something new… or when there are some bumps on the road like in January. Those times I’m going through doubts and fears too.

But it’s time to break free from these limitations and unleash the power of your talents. You are capable of so much more than you realize, and you have the ability to make a profound impact on the world through your work and your presence.

The key to overcoming self-doubt is to focus on your strengths and what you have to offer. Your big why can help you gain the courage you need to step outside of your comfort zone.

I want to share with you 3 powerful quotes from my spiritual teacher that are aimed to inspire you to deal with doubt:

Your doubt can become a tool for inquiry and your inquiry needs to be critical. Not negative, critical. That means looking very closely and precisely at something instead of just running your doubt as information or evidence. Doubt has no information or evidence in it. It has a feeling that things don’t fit. You then use your intelligence to go in and see how they fit, or see what doesn’t fit. When you are done, you will have proven something for yourself which no one can take from you, and that is very valuable. – John-Roger

If you have understanding, which is the cure for doubt, when doubt surfaces you can say, “I understand that I have doubt. That means there’s something I don’t know and that I am running assumptions about. I need more information.” Let me remind you that everything that comes into your environment, internally or externally, you can use for your upliftment, learning, and growth. – John-Roger

The cure for doubt is understanding even when there is no evidence to understand. You understand that doubt is part of the human condition, so you do not dwell upon your doubt but use it as a method to prove or disprove that which you’re going towards. If you doubt something, go check it out. If it’s not so, your doubt has been part of your knowledge. If it is so, your doubt has been part of your guidance system. Either way, you get to use doubt in a positive way. – John-Roger

Remember that the journey to Soul-level, as well as physical level, success is not always easy, but it is well worth it. Embrace your doubts and fears, have support to overcome the obstacles in your path, and you will find that you can live your dreams.

It’s time to be the star of your life!
